George Merritts, Esq. is the principal of The Law Offices of George Merritts and an experienced Long Island, Nassau County, New York attorney based in Garden City, New York. He opened his law practice in 2004 with an eye towards delivering personal, high level service for his clients.

Mr. Merritts completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Rochester, his graduate studies at Villanova University and his Juris Doctorate at Western New England College School of Law.

Following law school, he served as the Law Clerk for the Honorable June Strelecki and the Honorable F. Michael Giles, Justices of the Superior Court of the State of New Jersey, Civil Division. He also served as General Counsel for a large temporary technical staffing company for three years. He is a member of the American Staffing Association and Nassau County Bar Association where he is member of the Labor and Employment, Commercial Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Litigation, Attorney-Accountant and Corporate Law Committees.
